Handicap ramp rails, stair rails, site rails, and fencing are standard parts of the miscellaneous metals package. Here at Lawton Welding we have extensive experience with all facets of rail fabrication and installation to meet your requirements.

This stairway was constructed to connect existing fourth to fifth floor terraced balconies. Working at night we erected the twelve inch by four inch rectangular tube stringers to cantilever out over the courtyard below and return to the balcony above. Other than the unique location the stair is typical concrete filled steel pan construction.

Extensive time was spent working with the architects and owners to find the bronze alloy that would, over time, oxidize to the patina that they had envisioned. Once the alloy was decided upon we then needed to find weld filler material that would match and oxidize to the same color.

In addition to the many custom items mentioned already, we also stock many standard steel shapes and sizes. Masonry lintels, elevator pit ladders, roof ladders, cat walks, bollards, bar grate, and all  of your other miscellaneous steel needs can be fabricated to your specifications. In today's challenging construction market our experienced staff can get your job done. General contractors rely on Lawton Welding for all of  their steel fabrication and design needs.
